2016 Year In Review

Oppps! I think in my post one year ago today, I mentioned that I would try to blog more in 2016.... I guess that did not happen, BUT I am happy to say that I keep my website and facebook page up to date, so please feel free to visit those to check out what I am up to on a regular basis!

Another amazing year it has been - and I could not have done it without the support of my family, friends and of course, my beautiful clients! 2015 Year in Review

Where has this year gone?! I have been a little delinquent in my blogging in 2015 - between keeping on top of editing, updating my facebook business page and website, and still making time for my family, volunteering and crafting, this year has flown by!! That being said, it has been an AMAZING year for my business and I am so grateful for all of the amazing opportunities and the fantastic people I have had the pleasure of working with, as well as the support of my family and friends who have helped to make my dreams possible. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you all!!!

Getting Ready for Grad Season!

Valentine's Mini Sessions

 So many little sweeties for my Valentine's Mini Sessions! What a great time! I would love to hear what themed mini sessions you would like to see next!!

 

Sweet little Hadley was had such a terrible cold, but we still managed a few little smiles - for Mommy or Grandma only though. ;)

Welcome Mira!

I just love this family! Back in the fall, we did a maternity/family shoot with Ashala, Chris and Sina. It was so much fun to walk and talk and stop to take some shots. The whole session was great!

And I had the pleasure of helping them welcome sweet, beautiful Mira in January.

We did more of a lifestyle session vs. posed baby poses and it was great! I absolutely loved watching them interact and catching some very sweet moments.

Baby yawns melt my heart!!!!

Sina was just chilling, eating some peppers and cashews. :)

Not just portraits....

Before I started posing and photographing people, I started by photographing every kind of inanimate object I could find, from flowers, to kids toys, to interesting shapes, colors and shadows. I still LOVE to pick up my camera and photograph the everyday and make it something special. 

This past summer when a good friend of mine asked if I would be interested in taking some photos of the Jackfish Lodge, Pro Shop and Golf Course, I said absolutely!! It is a beautiful course - if you are a golfer, make the trip - it is well worth it. Also, the food at the restaurant is amazing, so if you are camping and want a break from hot dogs and hamburgers, head on over! And be sure to stop into the pro shop - they have great clothes and gear. All around great place!!

 When some friends finished building a home to sell, they had considered taking the photos on their phones for the listing, so I hijacked that photo job. They built a beautiful home, so it made the photographing easy peasy!! :)

 

And for those of you who know me, you know that I am a crazy crafter, so my creations often get photo shoots of their own. :) Feel free to follow my Jules Creations (my crafting blog) to see what else keeps me busy when I am not behind my camera or computer.

 

And just for fun.... :) My husband, Ryan and I have been married for just over 11 years now and our rings have seen some wear and tear, but I am not sure we ever taken any pictures of them. So better late than never!
